몽골국립대학과 국가발전혁신위원회 (National Development Innovation Committee)의 주관으로 지난 6월 11일-12일에 몽골 Hustai국립공원에서 학술회의 International Conference on Foresight and Forecasting 2010이 개최되었다. 아시아개발은행과 한국고등교육재단의 지원으로 개최된 이 행사에는 호주, 중국, 프랑스, 일본, 한국, 몽골, 폴란드, 베트남, 미국에서 80여명의 학자, 정책가, 기업리더들이 참석했다.

이 회의는 미래지향적 지식기반의 good governance 구축과 발전, 정책 수립과 forecasting & foresight 결과 활용에 대한 우수사례 발표, 기술발전에 대한 최신 이슈 탐구, 민간기업∙학계∙공공서비스 간 네트워크 강화를 목적으로 하고 있다.
